About Us: What can acupuncture treat? Pretty much anything. It used to be a primary form of medicine, and it continues to be used in hospitals worldwide. After 4 years of practice, I feel I do my best work with frozen shoulder, back pain, and mental health. I do well with knees, wrists, headaches, insomnia, Bell's Palsy, and digestive issues, too. Not to say I haven't been effective with other things. While I am a Jet Li fan, it's not like Kiss of the Dragon. I use sterile, single-use needles to relieve pain and promote relaxation. It's profound, but the wrist point won't knock you unconscious.

One of my recent allergy patients knew what membrane enclosures are! Said you can get them for 5 bucks at chain stores. (I had to mail order mine decades ago.)  I hope this means the general public is learning about such things. Bedding, especially pillows, accumulate dust. For the not-easily-washables, zip them up in dust-mite-impervious cases. Another easily forgotten reservoir of dust is curtains.

Seen on the likes of Gwynneth Paltrow, Victoria Beckham, and Denise Richards, (and in the Karate Kid!) cupping is an ancient Chinese therapy that promotes detoxification, circulation, and pain relief. Call this weekend to reserve your appointment!

If you have a 2:30 feeling often enough to recognize your 2:30 feeling, you aren't suffering from energy-product-deficiency. Take a good look at what you're eating for lunch. Too little? Maybe you're hungry instead of tired. Too much? Try a lighter lunch and an afternoon snack. Amount seems right? You may be overloading on simple carbohydrates, which will give you a similar outcome as a sugar crash. You know, the thing... more»

One excuse for not updating. Anyone want to adopt a couple of kittens? Their momma is feral, but she let me treat them for eye infections. Western antibiotics are stronger and faster, but used properly, natural medicine has fewer side effects and works on both bacterial and viral infections. (2 photos)

How long do you wait to do something about the "check engine" light in your car? Hopefully before you're stranded on the side of the road! Doesn't your body deserve the same consideration?

Pressure points on the outer ear realigned the jaw so both sides of the teeth close! As fun as it would be to live off ice cream, now the patient doesn't have to. Got TMJ? Want relief?

Does more energy, less fatigue, and a strengthened immune system sound good to you? I'll need to know a bit more about you than your Bizzy preferences! I'd love to know how I can help you get to where you want to be!

will give no medicine, but will interest her or his patients in the care of the human frame, in a proper diet, and in the cause and prevention of disease. --Thomas Edison actually said this, according to snopes!

Whether you are for or against hcr, the best way to not get screwed by your insurance (or lack thereof) is to BE WELL. Are you? Would you like some help with that?

To help manage allergies, use a saline nasal rinse daily. A spray will help some; a neti pot or squeeze bottle will be a lot more effective. Shower at night, so that you're not bringing all of those allergens to bed with you. Acupuncture and herbs can help, too!

Never thought about using the neti pot as part of a preventative/daily maintenance routine. Thanks!
